Tutor

Position description:  Work with individuals independently either at public location(s) of your choice or online via easy Teachers Test Prep online interface. Utilize Teachers Test Prep instructional methods and materials to teach subject matter and test-taking techniques, and to evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses, tailoring tutoring program to their individual needs.  We are currently hiring tutors for the following exams:

Hours: Part time. Flexible, based on your availability.

Equipment: Must have access to computer with high speed internet connection.

Compensation: $30-35/hr, dependent on qualifications.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree. Two years or more of experience teaching/tutoring. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of the foundational concepts in each subject matter domain of the tests you will be teaching. Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for helping students learn.

Applicants need not have taken the specific exam, but candidates making it to the second interview round may be asked to take a written evaluation and perform a mock tutoring session to establish subject matter competency. You may be qualified to teach any subject in which you score over 90% correct.
