Teachers Test Prep (TTP) is committed to ensuring individuals with disabilities are provided full and equal enjoyment of TTP’s services and programs. In furtherance of this commitment, TTP offers courses, including one-on-one tutoring, in an accessible manner to individuals with disabilities and will make modifications as are necessary to ensure that the place and manner in which the course or service is given are accessible to individuals with disabilities. This includes providing appropriate auxiliary aids and services. As part of our commitment, below is a list of commonly requested accommodations TTP provides for individuals with disabilities (though this is not an exhaustive list, and if a particular accommodation is not listed, please contact us at the email address listed below):
Examples of Common Accommodations Requests for Deaf or Hard of Hearing Individuals:
For live prep classes, seats near the front of the classroom may be reserved by request. We will also provide an ASL interpreter for any of our live prep classes provided a request is made reasonably in advance of the class date. We ask that such a request be made at least 7 days prior to the class date so as to better ensure interpreter availability.
For private tutoring, we provide an ASL interpreter or other appropriate auxiliary aid for tutoring sessions provided a request is made reasonably in advance of the class date, and ask that such a request be made at least 7 days prior to the class date.
For online prep, we currently have closed captioning for all of our online prep programs.
Examples of Common Accommodations for Individuals with Physical or Mobility Disabilities
Our live prep classes are held at wheelchair accessible locations. If you have questions about parking or accessibility, please contact us before your class. Because our classes are held at public venues such as lecture halls at colleges or conference rooms at hotels or office buildings, we ask that you contact us with any inquiries or requests at least 72 hours before the class so as to provide sufficient time to coordinate with the venue.
